The Role
Your job is to help clinicians confidently bring FODZYME to their patients in whatever way fits how they practice — and to grow revenue through the practitioners who are ready to dispense. Some clinicians want to stock and sell. Others will never carry a product but are powerful referrers when they trust the science and have the right patient-facing tools.
Your job is to meet each clinician where they are: educate them on the science, figure out which path fits their practice, and give them exactly the support they need to become a confident, repeat recommender — while driving wholesale revenue from the practices that fit a dispensing model.
What You'll Do
Prospect and reach out. Build and work a pipeline of target clinicians through cold calls, cold emails, LinkedIn outreach, and conference follow-ups. Get past gatekeepers, book the meeting, and keep the top of the funnel full.
Segment and route. Diagnose where each clinician fits — wholesale, referral-only recommender, or not-yet-ready — and tailor your follow-up accordingly. Build the playbook for each path as you go.
Educate and onboard. Run discovery calls, learn about their practice, and help them see where FODZYME fits in. Communicate on FODMAPs, enzyme mechanisms, and our clinical data. Make complex science and the impact FODZYME can have land with skeptical, time-constrained practitioners.
Sell to dispensing practices. For clinicians whose practices fit a wholesale model, run the full sales motion: pitch, negotiate, close, and onboard. Build a growing book of accounts that actively stock and sell FODZYME.
Support active recommenders. Equip clinicians with the materials, sample codes, and patient-facing resources they need to actually move recommendations into patient hands. Follow up relentlessly. Log everything in the CRM.
Show up. Represent Kiwi at conferences, trade shows, and industry events to build awareness and fill your pipeline.
Feed insights back. Share what you're hearing — objections, competitor intel, unmet needs — with leadership and marketing. Help shape messaging, pricing, and collateral based on real conversations.
What You Bring
2+ years in a clinician-facing role with a sales or revenue component: supplement or medical sales, MSL with commercial exposure, practitioner success at a nutraceutical company, or clinical practice with industry experience.
A track record of building trust with clinicians and converting that trust into recommendations, referrals, or revenue.
Comfort with cold outreach — you don't need a warm intro to pick up the phone.
The ability to hold a peer-level conversation with a GI, RD, NP, or ND — and the judgment to know when to teach vs. when to ask for the order.
Clinical credentials (CNS, RD, ND,). Bachelor's degree in nutrition, health sciences, or related field a plus.
You can explain science clearly to a skeptical practitioner without sounding like a textbook.
Self-starter DNA. You'll have support, but you'll help write the playbook, not follow one.
Comfortable using CRM tools and disciplined about logging your work.
Willing to travel up to 50 business days/year for client visits, conferences, and events.
