Provides direct patient care including:  Nutrition assessments, nutrition screens, nutrition education, NFPE assessments, calorie count, enteral and patenteral assessments with recommendations. Provides medical nutrition therapty for patients. Adjustment of diets within guidelines of physician diet order. Documentation of patient care in the medical record. Monitors follow-up care in a consistent, high quality and timely manner. Assists in the decrease of length of stay by aggressive nutrition intervention and timely diet education. Preceptor for Dietetic Interns. Develops and provides education to nursing staff, speech therapists, Medical students, and Developmental clinic fo pediatrics. Actively uses CBORD Nutrition Services
