Department of Food and Nutrition Services-1275 York Ave., NYC
The Department of Food and Nutrition Services provides excellent food, enhanced nutrition care, and exceptional hospitality to those we serve through innovation, technology and a dedicated staff with clinical and culinary expertise.
As a member of this department, you will relieve inpatient dietitian nutritionists and provide comprehensive nutrition care on all inpatient units as assigned. Your responsibilities include: assessing nutrition needs, develop, implement/reevaluate care plans for patients of all ages. Educate patients and family members and communicate patient issues to the health care team. Participate in performance improvement activities and research studies.
Bachelors degree with major in Nutrition or related field, plus 1 year of post-degree work (internship)
Minimum of 2 years job-related experience.
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Commission on Dietetic Registration
Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist, New York State
Basic Computer experience
Board Certified Specialist in Oncology Nutrition (CSO), Commission on Dietetic Registration or Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC), American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition
2-3 years oncology nutrition experience
Days: Monday Friday, Some weekends required. Hours: 9:00AM-5:00PM
