Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center (PSBHC) is an intensive inpatient psychiatric program for males and females, ages 5 - 17 years old. We offer a highly structured supportive and safe environment for children and adolescents who are experiencing behavioral, emotional, family, and social challenges.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE/ WORK ENVIRONMENT Responsible for the preparation and portioning of meals following dietary recipes and menus. Monitors the quality and temperature of all foods while being held before being placed on the serving line for each meal. Responsible for dishwashing and serving food in the cafeteria to patients, employees, and guests. Assure patient diets are met and options are available for those patients with special dietary needs. Also responsible for maintaining a sanitary environment assuring all appropriate procedures are followed at all times.
The part-time position is approximately 8-16 hours a week, to cover vacations and assist with other times as needed by the facility.
