Summary: Demonstrate commitment to the vision, core purpose/mission and goals of LRH, modeling the values and culture. Conduct performance reviews, assign employees work, schedule time off, and determine priority of work to be done. Oversees day-to-day operations for area of responsibility. Coaches and counsels employees toward performance improvement; disciplines when necessary. Has strong recommendation authority regarding hires and terminations. May assist with budgeting. Uses discretionary judgment in the management of staff, customers, and visitors. May provide staff education and training. Serve as a key resource for staff in their day-to-day job duties. Identifies and facilitates opportunities for improvement in the areas of quality care and services, stewardship, employee satisfaction, communication, accountability and customer satisfaction. Responsible to department leadership. This position is responsible for supervising a group of employees in their department. He/she is expected to role model the organizational values of care, quality, stewardship, accountability, integrity, and courtesy. He/she works collaboratively with other leaders and supervisors to achieve department, center and hospital-wide quality, safety, satisfaction, and financial goals. Performs other duties as assigned.

Gives high priority to quality outcomes. - Using a collaborative leadership style, facilitates the achievement of department and hospital-wide quality, safety, satisfaction and stewardship goals. Monitors and tracks data/reports as identified by the department leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Essential: * High School or Equivalent Nonessential: * Associate Degree
Education equivalent experience: Essential: * Must complete the LRH Management Training program (e.g. Supervisor Orientation) within the first six months in role. Nonessential: * Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Food Service Management and/or Culinary Arts. Combination of education and relevant experience.
Other information: Certifications Essential: Must obtain Serv Safe Certificate within 6 months of employment (Sanitation Certificate) Certifications Preferred: Certified Chef de Cuisine by the American Culinary Foundation.
