Meadville Medical Center is recruiting a BE/BC Radiation Oncologist to join one other Radiation Oncologist and six Medical Oncologists at their hospital based, off campus Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute in northwestern PA. The department has one Varian Trilogy Linac with Cone Beam CT, a large bore GE CT simulator, 4D Simulation capability, Varian HDR, ARIA information system and ECLIPSE treatment planning system. 3 T MRI located across the street. The cancer center employs a full time physicist and dosimetrist and has social workers, patient navigators, nutritionists, genetic counselors and lymphedema specialists available for its patients. The cancer program is accredited by the American College of Surgeons.

Must have completed an ACGME accredited residency/fellowship in Radiation Oncology and have a Pennsylvania license. ABR board certification or eligibility in Radiation Oncology is required. The candidate should have obtained training and/or experience in IMRT, IGRT, 4D, HDR brachytherapy, SBRT, SRS, and should have experience in the management for all disease sites (except for pediatric tumors). The practice has a strong focus on multimodality management, especially in cooperation with the medical oncology group on site. Finely honed communication skills are required in this largely conservative rural setting.
