Middlebury College is looking for an experienced, motivated, and food passionate individual to support our Chef in the Proctor dining hall. Our cooks are responsible for preparing, cooking and serving the diverse student community at Middlebury College. Our independently operated Dining Services serves three meals a day, seven days a week to 2,400 undergraduate residential students. The successful applicant will work from a chef-inspired cycle menu to ensure that the food prepared tastes delicious, is attractively presented, and safely prepared. Applicants must have a thorough knowledge of cooking methods and techniques, strong knife skills with the capacity for rapid food preparation and production as well as the ability to work cooperatively within a culinary team. Salary commensurate with experience, training and education. Minimum hiring rate is $15.22 per hour with a 5 day work week.
